 The Oakland Junior Golf program was formed to promote the game of golf to juniors ages 7-18 of all skill levels. The primary focus is on etiquette, rules, and learning about the spirit of golf with an emphasis on fun. The 2010 season will run from June 16-July 14, with the championship on July 21. The 10th Annual Parent-Child Outing will be on Sunday August 2 followed by the Junior Banquet and Awards Ceremony. Register today and come join the fun this year! Checkin Golfers should arrive and sign in by 7:30 a.m. unless instructed otherwise. Even on rain days, we will plan to do other activities inside for the kids. (301) 334-3883 Eligibility & Registration Golfers must be 7 years old or completed first grade but not have reached 19th birthday by the first play date, June 16. $25 registration fee per golfer (includes all play days, tournaments, banquet and awards) Registration forms due by June 11. Printable Registration forms will be available May 1 The Junior Golf Program could not take place without the help of parents and volunteers. Every Wednesday we need at least 16 volunteers to help with driving, shuttling and scoring.
